IHOP London is open to anyone who would like to attend any of our prayer meetings, Services, seminars, conferences or Training courses.
For those who are interested in serving at the Missions Base on worship teams, on prayer room teams, or in helps ministry departments, there are four different levels of involvement, which are defined below. Those who have made a commitment to become intercessory missionaries run the majority of the operations of the Missions Base.
Intercessory missionaries are those who have committed to prayer and fasting as the first work of ministry. Their primary function is to maintain the flame of prayer and worship burning at the prayer room so that a daily flow of incense trough prayer and worship is been lift before The Lord from London. Intercessory missionaries raise their own support through partner development. Intercessory missionaries are the modern day equivalent of Levites and gatekeepers in the Tabernacle of David.
An intercessory missionary who has committed to serving the Lord by participating in 12+ two-hour prayer sets (meetings) and 24+ hours in helps ministry weekly, as well as fulfilling all other staff requirements.
Part Time Staff:
An intercessory missionary who has committed to serving the Lord by participating in 6+ two-hour prayer meetings and 12+ hours in helps ministry weekly, as well as fulfilling all other staff requirements.
IHOP Family:
An individual who has committed to serving the Lord through 10+ hours of weekly prayer room involvement and helps ministry. These 10+ hours are divided into 8+ hours in prayer room and 2+ hours in helps ministry. IHOP Family members are encouraged to attend the weekly Service, which counts toward their weekly prayer room hours. IHOP family are required to attend a one-day Vision & Values course prior to receiving family status.
IHOP Community:
An individual not able to make a staff commitment but who sees IHOP London as his spiritual family. IHOP Community are required to attend weekly Services. They are also required to spend 2+ hours in the prayer room weekly and serve 2+ hours each month at the Missions Base. IHOP Community are required to attend a one-day Vision & Values class prior to receiving community status.
